Abstract

This access serves as a fundamental tool for fostering human rights protection and cultivating the rule of law, particularly within the context of Nigeria. Acknowledging the intricate interplay between access to justice, human rights, and the rule of law, this study delves into the challenges and implications associated with the current state of access to justice in Nigeria.</p> <p>Focusing on the multifaceted aspects of the judicial system, the research explores the inherent complexities and nuances that impact not only the State and the offender but also the victim of crime. By unpacking the impediments and hurdles present in the existing framework, the study aims to shed light on the ways in which access to justice can be fortified, ensuring a more robust and equitable legal landscape.</p> <p>The examination of access to justice in Nigeria reveals a series of setbacks that extend beyond mere procedural obstacles.
