The transition from expert clinician to novice academic, particularly in adult nursing, presents inherent challenges. Existing literature underscores the significance of robust support and mentorship mechanisms to facilitate a seamless entry into academia. This review explores the complexities of transitioning from clinical practice to academic roles in adult nursing, emphasizing the pivotal role of supportive environments and effective mentoring strategies in fostering professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education.&nbsp; </em></p>
