Abstract

Micro-courses have emerged as a dynamic and innovative approach to education, leveraging short, small, precise, and interesting teaching videos as their core content. Unlike traditional teaching examples and courseware, micro-courses embody a unique instructional design that creates thematic "small environments" for effective learning experiences. This novel teaching model integrates multiple resources, fostering an environment that is both engaging and impactful [1].Characterized by their brevity, micro-courses typically span around 10 minutes, emphasizing the essence of the teaching material. The focus lies on condensing the core elements of a subject, presenting information in a concise yet comprehensive manner. This shift towards succinct delivery addresses the modern learner's preference for quick, focused, and engaging educational content. A key aspect of micro-courses is their role in the flipped classroom model. This transformative approach challenges the traditional teacher-centric paradigm by placing students at the center of the learning process. The conventional model of teacher-led instruction, student learning, and subsequent practice undergoes a profound reversal. In the flipped classroom, the emphasis shifts towards students' self-study and practice, with teachers adopting a role of observation and guidance. By inverting the traditional teaching mode, the flipped classroom model aims to enhance the overall learning experience. Students engage in independent study and practice, allowing teachers to observe their progress, address queries, and provide corrective guidance tailored to individual needs. This interactive approach fosters a more personalized and adaptive learning environment, ultimately yielding optimal teaching outcomes. In conclusion, micro-courses represent a transformative paradigm in education, with their succinct and engaging nature redefining the traditional teaching landscape. The integration of multiple resources in a thematic "small environment" underscores their unique instructional design. Furthermore, the adoption of the flipped classroom model accentuates the student-centric approach, fostering independent learning and facilitating a more dynamic teacher-student interaction. As education continues to evolve, the significance of micro-courses in reshaping pedagogical practices becomes increasingly evident
