Abstract

This article delves into the ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Autonomous Moral Agents (AMA). As AI continues to advance, there is a growing concern about the ethical behavior of machines. This research aims to address key questions regarding machine ethics: 1. What machine factors may lead to moral crises or ethical dilemmas? 2. What model can be employed for monitoring machine ethics? 3Where should a machine ethics monitoring system be integrated? The article begins by establishing fundamental ethical concepts and constructs, laying the groundwork for understanding machine ethics. It proceeds with a comprehensive literature review, highlighting the theoretical framework that guides the research questions. A factor analysis of an ethical machine, coupled with the associated methodology, is then presented. Subsequently, a multi-level machine ethics monitoring model is introduced, along with a discussion on its optimal implementation.
