Abstract

In 2022, Shenzhen unveiled its ambitious plan to bolster strategic emerging industry clusters and cultivate future industries, aiming to surpass a staggering added value of 1.5 trillion yuan by 2025. This visionary initiative has galvanized the industrial sector, setting the stage for a dynamic transformation in Shenzhen's strategic emerging industries. Amidst the backdrop of the dual-cycle development paradigm, Shenzhen's strategic emerging industries are primed to fortify the bedrock of the manufacturing sector. This entails the creation of industrial clusters, fostering robust development, and enhancing the competitiveness of both the modern industrial system and regional industries. Within Shenzhen's new development phase, vocational education must intricately align itself with the city's industrial landscape. This alignment involves tailoring educational programs to local industrial planning, equipping learners to adapt to the dynamic evolution of Shenzhen's industries, and nurturing talents capable of driving the city's industrial and economic reforms. This paper delves into the strategic imperative of optimizing the professional layout of vocational education against this dynamic backdrop. It explores the pathways and strategies that can effectively bridge the gap between education and industry, ultimately contributing to the realization of Shenzhen's bold vision for its strategic emerging industries
