Abstract

This study delves into the local perception, impact, and coping mechanisms related to food aid, as well as the determinants of dependency syndrome in the context of Raya Azebo Woreda, Southern Tigray Ethiopia. It aims to explore how communities perceive and are affected by food aid, while also investigating the factors contributing to the development of dependency syndrome. Understanding the local dynamics and responses to food aid is crucial for developing sustainable interventions that empower communities and promote self-reliance
