According to Kumalo and Sigsworth (2016), national cohesion and integration represent a complex process and a significant state where all citizens are empowered to recognize and feel their belonging to a collective community. This unity involves a shared commitment to addressing common challenges and embracing mutual opportunities. At the heart of this intricate dynamic lies the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), a governmental body tasked with the vital mission of promoting a cohesive national community and nurturing peaceful coexistence among Kenya's diverse populations
